WHITTIER PLANNING COMMISSIONER
This is a very serious legitimate public concern and now newsworthy information that is being swept under the carpet by our city council.
Our city and residents deserve transparency, not more cover-up.
We have a person in public office that has been arrested by our own police department and has several recorded tax liens, yet she is allowed to make major and community-changing decisions in our city.
Our city and its officials should be working toward transparency with high integrity, and honesty, while putting the public's trust above all.
The information was obtained through public records requests and through the Los Angeles County Recorder's Office, the Federal and local courts, and the Department of Real Estate.

Update 1-26-23: According to Whittier 360, she alleges she was separated when she filed for bankruptcy in 2011. Her attorney said her bankruptcy attorney must have made a mistake when he checked off "single" on marital status and that she did not have to list her then-husband because she was separated.
2015 Divorce Records show that she was married when she filed for bankruptcy. It documents a date of separation of Dec. 1, 2014. Perhaps her divorce attorney also made a mistake on her date of separation date?

As you can see here, the information I stated is true based on public information or information gathered through California Public Records Requests.
When a person is a public official and one asserts there is a serious legitimate public concern (such as in this case), the Citizens of Whittier have the right to speak up and voice these concerns to avoid potential corruption, potential conflict of interest violations, or ethical issues.
1-23-23 Update: Whittier360 News Network's investigation stated the planning commissioner either has paid or is paying some of the tax liens, but it is uncertain if she started this arrangement before or after FHN brought it to light. The State of California as of three weeks ago has not released any of her tax liens.
